IT'S HATS ON TIME!!
Well done to all of those families who have made sure their child brought their SUNSMART Sherbourne hat this week! The SunSmart Hats On period has been extended from September 1st through to May 1st. If students do not have their Sunsmart Sherbourne hat we have a no hat, no play policy, students will be directed to a designated shade area this may impact upon their ability to participate in PE classes also.  If you are in need of a Sun Smart Sherbourne hat, they are available every day through the school office - the popular broad brimmed style comes in Small, Medium and Large sizes and costs $9.00, the legionnaire style (one size fits all) is available for $3 (limited supplies). Please ensure you children are adequately protected!

to Children
There are times when parents are concerned about incidents involving their children and want more information, or seek to ‘fix' what they see as a problem.  Parents are of course always welcome in our school.  If you have a concern about a child or children, you should see the class teacher and/or Principal or Assistant Principal.  We need to know of your concerns - we can only act on what we know about.  There are guidelines set out by the Department of Education, for access to children whilst at school.  At no time is it permissible for parents to directly approach children to discuss incidents.  This is outside the guidelines and can be very frightening for a child.
