At Sherbourne our children are curious learners with inquiring minds who are encouraged to question and investigate their world. Through Inquiry learning our students come to understand and manage themselves as learners. 

Inquiry learning stems from a question to be answered. Inquiry units at Sherbourne may be related to any of the following:

  • an action
  • an event
  • an issue
  • essential questions linked to the curriculum
  • an investigation of a problem
